We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries. By default, analytics cookies are denied until you accept them via the consent banner that appears on your first visit.

Functional (always on): Browser localStorage is used for two purposes:
- Consent choice: Your accept or reject decision is stored as
fc_consentso the banner does not show again on every visit. - Nudge prompt cooldown: A "call us" prompt may appear briefly during a session. Once dismissed, a flag is stored so it does not appear again for 24 hours. No personal data is stored.
Changing your choice: Clear your browser's site data for firstcallhomeservices.co.uk to be re-prompted, or block cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site will break if you reject cookies.

We keep enquiry records only as long as necessary for the purpose for which they were collected:
- Active enquiry / quoted job not yet completed: retained until resolved or 6 months from last contact, whichever is sooner.
- Completed job: basic contact and job record retained for 6 years to comply with Gas Safe record-keeping and potential liability obligations.
- Enquiries that did not result in a job: deleted after 12 months.
- Netlify form submissions: we delete these from the Netlify dashboard within 90 days of receipt.
After the relevant retention period, data is permanently deleted from Google Sheets and any other systems we control. Netlify and Telegram retain their own logs subject to their respective privacy policies.
